30 Days in September: Your 30-Day Reset Starts Now!

There’s something about a new month that feels like a fresh start.

And September? It gives us exactly 30 days.

Thirty days to reset. Thirty days to get back to ourselves. Thirty days to make a few small changes without trying to completely reinvent our lives overnight.

Because sometimes you don’t need a whole new life—you just need a reset.

Maybe August was busy. Maybe your routine disappeared. Maybe you’ve been taking care of everybody except yourself. Or maybe everything is actually going pretty well, but you know there are a few areas where you could show up better for you.

That’s what this reset is about.

Not perfection. Not doing all 30 things every single day. And definitely not creating another impossible list that makes you feel behind before you even start.

One simple thing each day. That’s it.

The September 30-Day Reset

Day 1: Drink more water than you normally do.

Day 2: Take a 20-minute walk.

Day 3: Do your full nighttime skincare routine—no skipping.

Day 4: Clean out one drawer, cabinet, or small space.

Day 5: Go to bed 30 minutes earlier.

Day 6: Put your phone down for one uninterrupted hour.

Day 7: Take yourself out for coffee, lunch, or a little solo time.

Day 8: Clean your makeup brushes.

Day 9: Write down three things you’re grateful for.

Day 10: Say no to something you really don’t want to do.

Day 11: Eat a protein-packed breakfast.

Day 12: Unfollow or mute accounts that make you feel bad about yourself.

Day 13: Change your sheets and make your bed extra comfortable.

Day 14: Give yourself an at-home facial or book one.

Day 15: Check in with your goals. Are they still what you want?

Day 16: Spend 15 minutes stretching your body.

Day 17: Clean out your purse, work bag, or car.

Day 18: Compliment yourself—out loud.

Day 19: Eat one meal without scrolling on your phone.

Day 20: Do something you’ve been putting off that takes less than 15 minutes.

Day 21: Take a long shower, moisturize, and actually enjoy your routine instead of rushing through it.

Day 22: Go outside and get some fresh air.

Day 23: Check your skincare products and throw away anything expired.

Day 24: Do something just because it makes you happy.

Day 25: Give yourself a no-spend day.

Day 26: Reach out to someone you’ve been meaning to check on.

Day 27: Look at your calendar and intentionally schedule time for yourself.

Day 28: Stay off social media for the first hour after you wake up.

Day 29: Write down what you want October to feel like—not just what you want to accomplish.

Day 30: Look back at the month and celebrate what you actually did.

Your Reset Doesn’t Have to Be Dramatic

I think sometimes we make “starting over” way too complicated.

We tell ourselves we need a new diet, a new workout plan, a perfect morning routine, a completely organized house, flawless skin, more money, more discipline…and somehow we’re supposed to start all of it on Monday.

No wonder we get tired.

A reset can be much quieter than that.

It can be drinking your water. Washing your face before bed. Moving your body. Setting a boundary. Booking the appointment you keep putting off. Spending an hour without your phone. Going to sleep when you’re tired.

Those little decisions count.

And when you make enough of them consistently, you may look up 30 days later and realize you feel different.

So this September, I’m not asking you to become a completely different person.

I’m challenging you to spend 30 days getting back to yourself.

Take what you need from this list. Switch the days around. Repeat the ones that feel good. Skip something that doesn’t fit your life.

Just give yourself something intentional every day.

September has 30 days.

What could change if you gave yourself all 30?
