When Your Routine Changes and You Feel Stuck

Today I woke up different.
Not bad. Not sad. Just… blah.
I woke up with very little motivation, and here I am reevaluating AGAIN. And if I’m being completely transparent, I’m tired. Tired of thinking. Tired of adjusting. Tired of trying to figure out the next move.
I keep telling myself, Girl, snap out of it.
Because the crazy part is, business is good. My family is good. Nothing is falling apart around me. I’m the one feeling stuck.
And sometimes I think that’s harder to explain.
This week changed a lot for me. One of my kids started school, and just like that, the routine I had finally gotten comfortable with had to change. I can’t go to the gym in the mornings anymore. I have to close my books earlier. My mornings look different. My evenings look different. And now I’m trying to figure out where I fit into this new schedule.
I know it sounds small when I write it out, but sometimes one change creates a domino effect.
I had a routine that was working. I knew when I was going to work out. I knew when I was going to take clients. I knew when I had time for my business, my family, and myself.
Now? I’m navigating again.
And I don’t feel like giving myself the usual motivational speech today.
Today, I need the motivation.
Maybe I don’t need to “snap out of it.” Maybe I need to admit that I’m tired, give myself a minute, and figure out what this new normal looks like. Because life changed, and apparently my routine has to change with it.
I know I’ll figure it out. I always do.
But today I’m allowing myself to say that I feel blah. I feel stuck. I’m not feeling especially motivated or productive, and I don’t have some beautiful inspirational ending tied up with a bow.
I’m simply trying to navigate the changes without losing myself in the process.
So today, instead of me giving the advice, I want to hear from you.
How do you get yourself out of those bad places mentally? What helps you find your motivation again when you just feel stuck?
