One Month Closer…

I wanted to share a quick update on my wellness journey because I think it’s important to show the whole process—not just the highlight reel.

When I started, I weighed 213.4 lbs. My latest weigh-in was 201.6 lbs, which means I’m down 11.8 pounds. I’m proud of that, but getting here hasn’t been a straight line.

There was a week where the scale went up a few pounds. For a moment, I caught myself wondering what I had done wrong. But then I reminded myself that our bodies fluctuate. Stress, hormones, hydration, sodium, sleep, and so many other things can cause temporary changes on the scale.

Instead of getting frustrated, I stayed consistent.

The next weigh-in, that gain was gone, and I hit a new low. It was a good reminder that one number doesn’t tell the whole story.

This month, I’m challenging myself to be even more intentional. My biggest goals are pretty simple: drink more water, hit my protein goals, and stay disciplined even on the days I don’t feel like it. Those small choices add up over time.

If you’re working toward your own health goals, don’t let one off day—or one off weigh-in—convince you that you’re not making progress. Keep showing up. Keep doing the work. Consistency wins far more often than perfection.

I’ve had several people ask about the scale and app I use to track everything, so I’ve added them to my Linktree Shop if you’re interested.
